Hello and welcome to the MOBAFire Patch Summary - 6.23!

This is a small patch with some fairly significant kit changes to a handful of champions. Most notably, Shyvana received a small gameplay update focused mostly around her dragon form. This patch also includes a few adjustments to items, numerous bug fixes and of course, Elementalist Lux .

Shyvana received major changes to most of her abilities. Her passive, Fury of the Dragonborn now grants her extra stats if her team kills dragons, and she deals 10% more damage to dragons directly. This comes at the cost of the free resistances she would gain with level and these bonuses no longer double in dragon form.

Burnout no longer leaves a flame trail behind Shyvana when used in dragon form. Instead, the size of the AoE grows depending on the rank of Dragon's Descent. Flame Breath received even more significant changes, as it is now a skillshot that stops upon hitting an enemy champion. In dragon form, the fireball explodes on impact, scorching the ground and marking enemies to take bonus damage from Shyvana's autoattacks.

Finally, Dragon's Descent gives bonus health and range, though it no longer provides additional passive resistances. The range of the dash is 100 units shorter, but Shyvana can no longer be knocked out of the dash.

Anivia also received a battery of changes, with Crystallize cooldown reducing from 25 seconds to 17 seconds at all ranks. Frostbite has a 1 second shorter cooldown, but only deals double damage against targets hit by Flash Frost or a fully formed Glacial Storm. Anivia's ultimate now deals less damage initially, but grows to max size more quickly.

Malzahar's Void Swarm received a number of changes this patch. In short, Voidlings can effectively chew through minions affected by Malefic Visions, but won't spawn as many new Voidlings and no longer increase in attack speed when there are three or more Voidlings present. In exchange, Malzahar can now store up to 2 charges of Void Swarm, each costing only 40 mana.

Apart from those larger changes, Akali and Shen received some buffs this patch. Akali's changes were mostly slight increases to ratios on Twin Disciplines and Crescent Slash in addition to a lower energy cost on Twilight Shroud. Shen's armor and health growth stats were increased, giving him more durability as he gains experience.

  • If Teleport or Recall's channel is interrupted by someone other than yourself, the camera will now snap to your location.
